Joshua Mattson is the founder and director of Flagstaff Sings! He is a multi-instrumentalist choral education student at NAU, and writes and arranges choral literature for jazz and classical choral ensembles. From playing cello in orchestral settings, singing and playing guitar, cello, bass and keys in Rock, Jazz and Latin groups, to singing and playing in Kirtan ensembles, he brings a great depth of musical experience that encompasses many styles and traditions.

Leon Lucero
Leon Lucero is a senior at Northern Arizona University pursuing a degree in Music Education. Leon is the current music director of Flagstaff’s Mountain Tremors, an ensemble made up of people with Parkinson’s disease. He is also going into his second year as music director of NAU’s premiere all-male A Capella group, the Highlanders. Leon is the co-director of Flagstaff Sings!
Multi-instrumentalist and Composer Daniel Dunn has participated in Folk, Rock, Experimental, Choral, West African, Balinese and Javanese Gamelan, Jazz, and Classical Chamber groups. Recently receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Piano Performance, Daniel has performed in a multitude of solo and collaborative recitals. Currently, he is working as a private piano teacher and a collaborative pianist in the community.

Khalid McGhee
Khalid began his piano studies at age 11. Just three years later, he was accepted into Orchestrating Diversity, where he was the Urban Youth Orchestra concerto soloist for three consecutive years. Khalid is also the pianist and assistant director for NAU's Gospel choir. Khalid is a senior piano performance major at NAU, studying under Rita Borden, and Dr. Frank Scott.
Director's note: Khalid is the Man! Eric Anderson Jr. is a true local working musician, he has played guitar and drums in many local ensembles like Short Fuse, Proud Mother, and Joy Wolfe. He brings a wide musical base of experience to the Flagstaff Sings! sound. He has been playing drums since the tender age of 2! We are very pleased he has joined the team! :-)
